Weight-optimized and designed for use in trail running competition on maintained trails these poles require particularly trained and careful use and are not designed as an everyday training pole. There is a risk of the tip getting stuck between stones, soil or roots which increases the risk of breaking the shaft. This product should never be used in exposed terrain, in alpine and fall-prone mountain sports, on snow, ice or glaciers.
